Snacks from Slovenia
Slovenian snacking is kremšnita at Lake Bled, a custard-and-cream slice the town defends, and potica, the rolled nut cake of holidays that becomes leftover snacking. Prekmurska gibanica, a layered pastry with a PDO. Kranjska is a meal sausage. This is a lake custard slice and a walnut roll, not a Croatian kremsnita with different vowels — Bled put a lake on the cream.

Krofi are the doughnut. Pack potica if it will travel. Cream cake is same-day.
